Submissions Scope

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Research (JPBR) (ISSN:2630-533X) is an international open access journal that publishes original articles, short communications and review reports on the development of the materials related to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sciences. JPBR will also accept the following for publication: (a) Abstracts and Proceedings of scientific meetings relevant to the journal, following consideration and approval by the Editorial Board; (b) Announcements of meetings related to the fields of the journal and (c) Short reviews (of approximately 120 words) and announcements of newly received books related to the fields of the journal.

Original articles are the main form of publication of new research results in JPBR. There is no formal limitation on length but a regular paper rarely exceeds about 7,500 words (39,000 characters, without spaces). Shorter papers are of course welcome and the Editors will make recommendations for shortening any paper if that appears appropriate without loss of essential content.

Short communications should deal with a single point. The author must explain in a letter why publication is urgent. Short communications should not exceed four printed pages and may contain a maximum of two figures.

Reviews should appeal to a broad readership and should be accessible to non-specialists. Ideally, reviews should convey new ideas and should not be simply a collation of information on a topic. The References section should provide as complete a coverage of the literature as possible including all the relevant works published up to the time of submission.

Book Reviews
This journal publishes open access reviews on recently published books (both print and electronic) relevant to the journal. Publishers and authors of books are invited to contact our book reviews editor at editorial@syncsci.com with book review requests. All submitted books will be reviewed by an independent expert in the field. No page charges will be levied to authors for the publication of book reviews.

Supplement/Thematic Issues
The journal also considers Supplements/Thematic issues for publication. The Guest Edited Thematic Issues are published free of charge. A Supplement/Single topic will be a collection of articles (minimum of 6, maximum of 12 articles) based on a contemporary theme or topic of great importance to the field. Mini-supplements consisting of between 3 to 6 articles are also welcome. A short summary or proposal for editing a Supplement should be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief at editorial@syncsci.com.
